Katie Weber started out her career life as a biologist. After graduating from the University of Puget Sound in 1994 with a bachelor of science in biology, she spent the next eight years as a lab technician in Eugene and Seattle. Desperately in need of a new direction, Katie realized that her true passion was deeply rooted in plants and gardens. So, in the summer of 2002 she enrolled in the Landscape Horticulture - Design Build program at South Seattle Community College. Her classes in design clarified it all and in the summer of 2003 she officially started Katie Weber Landscape Design. She hasn't looked back since.

"Any webpage about my business would be incomplete without telling you about me, personally. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I'm mother to one super-cute adorable son. I have one additional 'child': my 11yr old Australian Cattledog, Georgia, whom I love to pieces. I'm a gardening fanatic and always wish I had more time to work on my own landscape. My husband and I are avid home-remodelers, now on our second home. We own a 1959 Airstream trailer that we truly enjoy using. Being outside, camping, swimming, scuba-diving are all things that I try to fit in to this busy, wonderful, and lucky life."
